Beginner mending
Thread a needle, finish with your garment fixed. A button, a seam, a patch, visible mending to show off.
The clothes you love don't have to end with a broken zip or a missing button. Learn to fix them yourself, no experience, no sewing machine, just something you're not quite ready to give up on.
A missing button. A split seam. A pair of trousers you never wear. Or leftover fabric that could become something else. Sometimes things need fixing. Sometimes they need changing. Sometimes they just need someone to see them differently. Restitch makes room for all three.
A small repair can change how you see a whole wardrobe.
Start with one garment. We'll show you how.A relaxed, hands-on session. You learn a real skill and leave with something you mended. No experience needed; that's the point.

Just you and me, at your pace. We work on whatever's been beating you, until it clicks.
Hen dos, birthdays, friends. Customise, embroider, patch. Everyone leaves with a one-off.

Want to explore repair, rework or creative reuse without building a full operation straight away? I can help you think through the opportunity, design a small pilot and identify what practical delivery would require. We can start with a conversation and scope the right collaborators for the work.
Founded by a sustainability consultant turned maker. Environmental strategy, carbon measurement and project delivery, brought together with practical repair and upcycling.
Explore where repair or rework could fit, what customers need and what a workable first step looks like.
Define a focused test, from customer journey and responsibilities to the questions worth measuring.
Develop creative uses for surplus textiles and identify suitable making or delivery partners as needed.
I've run repair pop-ups and workshops with universities, consultancies and campaigns, and I report the impact in language a sustainability team can actually use.
Tell me about your team, your brand or your event, and what you're hoping it could be. I read every message myself and reply to all of them.

I spent years working in sustainability, helping organisations understand their environmental impact. Eventually I wanted to work more directly with materials, garments and people. I learned to sew, started repairing and reworking clothes under my upcycling label, and found that the workshops and repairs needed a home of their own. That became Restitch.
I wanted to move from talking about change to making things with my hands.
I bring both perspectives to Restitch: a background in sustainability strategy and project delivery, and the curiosity of someone who keeps learning through making. I'm transparent about the repairs I can take on, and I love helping other people feel confident enough to try.
My ambition is to make mending feel approachable, creative and social, whether that happens around a workshop table, at a community event or through a brand collaboration.
And the longer game? Getting repair back onto the timetable. It used to be taught in every school, needlework and make do and mend, until it quietly disappeared. I want to help put it back, so the next generation grows up knowing how to keep what they own.
Questions, ideas, or just want to talk repair? I read every message myself.
